In the cold winter months, as temperatures drop, using gas wall-mounted boilers has become the primary heating method for many people. For new users of gas wall-mounted boilers, how can you operate these appliances correctly and safely? Below, we’ll share with you some tips on using gas wall-mounted boilers. Standard gas wall-mounted boilers typically offer two distinct operating modes: heating and domestic hot water. On the boiler’s control panel, you’ll find two selection options accordingly. During winter, you can use the gas wall-mounted boiler to provide both heating and hot water functions; the hot-water function takes priority, or the system can automatically switch between the two based on user demand. In summer, the gas wall-mounted boiler remains in standby mode and operates solely in the hot-water mode. Generally, temperature control in gas wall-mounted boilers is guided by the principle of maintaining a constant temperature. For underfloor heating systems, the water temperature is usually kept around 60 degrees Celsius. If the boiler’s temperature rises above 80 degrees Celsius and then drops below 40 degrees Celsius, this constitutes a highly unscientific heating approach. Similarly, if the boiler’s temperature falls below 40 degrees Celsius after work hours, this represents an extremely energy-inefficient operating mode.
