Safety Operating Procedures for Gas Boilers

Pre-ignition Checks for Gas Boilers: 1. The boiler, fan, and boiler circulation pump should all be in good working condition. 2. Safety accessories (such as pressure gauges, water level indicators, boiler explosion-proof doors, etc.) must be complete, flexible, and reliable. 3. The hot water tank’s water level should be above two-thirds of the tank’s height (but below the overflow port). The boiler water level is full. 4. Ensure that the flue duct is unobstructed and open the draft fan damper. 5. Check whether the natural gas supply system is functioning properly (whether the gas pressure is normal and whether the gas-liquid separator has been drained). Open the gas manual valve and confirm there are no leaks. Gas Boiler Ignition and Startup: 1. Start the boiler draft fan and ventilate for 20 minutes. 2. Press the start button to activate the burner nozzle. Step 1: First, blow through the furnace for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, it will automatically ignite. Observe whether ignition is successful. Once successful, run at low flame for one minute first, then automatically switch to high flame, and finally start the draft fan for normal operation. (Automatic program) 3. During operation, perform regular checks every half hour. Key inspection points include: a. Whether the natural gas flow and pressure are stable. b. Whether the motor burner is operating normally and whether there is any noise in the motor. c. Is the furnace flame normal? d. Is the boiler hot water circulation pump functioning properly (perform a manual test)? e. Is the boiler pressure normal (normal pressure, adjustment range: high flame shutdown, low flame startup)? f. Is the draft fan operating normally and does the motor make any unusual noises? 4. During normal operation, the burner requires no manual intervention; all transitions between high and low flames will be performed automatically according to the set parameters. The burner is equipped with manual buttons for switching to high flame and low flame, allowing you to manually control the heat output as needed. (Start/stop switch No. 2 for fire protection) Shutting Down the Gas Boiler: 1. The furnace is started and stopped regularly according to production requirements. 2. Press the stop button to shut down the burner and close the pipeline gas supply valve.
