The air-pressure switch then sends a signal to the water pump, which, once activated, causes the flow switch to send a signal to the high-pressure igniter and subsequently to the gas proportional valve, prompting the gas proportional valve to open. Thanks to the negative pressure in the combustion chamber, natural gas doesn’t accumulate or ignite explosively; instead, it burns quietly and silently, effectively preventing dangerous accidents and ensuring stable operation. Under interlocked control, the gas proportional valve can only function when there’s a certain level of negative pressure in the combustion chamber. If, within five seconds, the flue-gas draft switch fails to detect proper exhaust gas flow, the gas proportional valve will automatically shut off, cutting off the gas supply and guaranteeing safe operation.
